Hand-knitted Cashmere Scarf & Hat Set | Mustard Yellow

This beautiful knit cashmere scarf and hat set is lovingly hand-knitted by women in the Kedarnath Valley who own and operate their own cooperative, giving them both social and economic empowerment.

The cashmere is obtained from the nomadic tribal people of Mongolia who come into the Kedarnath Valley to trade their cashmere. These tribes have been living in harmony with nature, generating cruelty-free cashmere and other natural fibres from the livestock they live and survive with.

Knitted in a luxurious, naturally dyed heavy ply chunky cashmere yarn by the ladies of the Panchachuli project, these blankets are utterly unique and fabulous heirlooms.
