Our Toscana shearling throws are the epitome of luxury. Made from pieces of Tuscan shearling carefully sewn together, this creates an incredibly luxurious piece that looks great as a throw on a bed or sofa, but is robust enough to use on the floor as an area rug too.
Truly sustainable, these wonderful throws are made from offcuts of the fashion industry, minimising waste and creating something beautiful that will last for years and years.
Tuscan shearling is renowned for its soft, luxurious fur and unlike other sheepskins, it will remain lustrous over time and won’t become matted or flat.

CARE
The best care for these is to give it a good shake outside every now and then. As a natural material, they are very good at self cleaning. Clean areas that have had spills by spot cleaning with a recommended wool wash. Do not use harsh chemicals or biological cleaners. Nature is best!
You can also maintain your shearling beautifully by giving it a brush with a slicker brush using our all natural Washed Woollies spray which contains conditioning lanolin along with proprietary of cleansing and disinfecting essential oils including English Lavender, Tea Tree Oil, Eucalyptus, Bergamot & Lemon Myrtle Oil
It is possible to machine wash your shearling but the best care for your shearling to maintain its original lustre and beauty is to avoid this. If required, machine wash with a high quality wool wash. We recommend Woolskin Woolwash

This is a dyed sheepskin product. Our natural dyes are sensitive to sunlight and may fade or change colour in prolonged direct sunlight. I you are looking for something that will withstand prolonged direct sunlight, please take a look at our undyed range of sheepskins.

Machine washable (yes... you read that correctly!), but please follow recommended instructions carefully. Ultimately we do not recommend washing unless absolutely necessary. They are naturally self cleaning and just need a good shake and a whack outside every now and then!
